GSP trains with Pacman

UFC welterweight champion, Georges St-Pierre (GSP) is on a 3-day trip in the Philippines to promote the Ultimate Fighting Championship. SGP got his wish to finally meet and share training gym with World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight king Manny Pacquiao on Friday.Currently, Pacman is in preparations for his boxing match against Mexico's Antonio Margarito. St.-Pierre, on the other hand, will have an MMA fight on December 11 against welterweight challenger Josh Koscheck.

The UFC champion from Canada immediately greeted Pacquiao in Filipino when they met in the Elorde Gym locker room. "Kamusta ka, kamusta ka (How are you, how are you)?" said St.-Pierre.

GSP also got some training in with boxing trainer Freddie Roach–Roach and GSP trained together for a few weeks over the summer at the Wild Card in Hollywood. The MMA fighter also cited Roach for improving his boxing skills. Boxing is one of the martial arts disciplines in MMA.

"I look forward to watch your next fight," St.-Pierre said. "Hopefully, one day you'll take on [Floyd] Mayweather and knock him out."

Charice on "Glee"

"You are a foreign exchange student named Sunshine Corazon because you'e from the Philippines where it's sunny every day" This is Charice's character as she appeared on the hit TV show "Glee" which aired last Septembe 21.

Seriously? Is this how they percieve as the Philippines? Sunny? Orange? Or are they were just correlating it to Charice's charater name? I hope its the latter. Pano pag Mary ang pangalan nya? Where it's marry everyday? Or Violet? Where it's violet everyday? Sagwa (wheee.. May ma-comment lang).

Charice's first song was Lady Gaga and Beyonce's "Telephone". When Rachel heard sunshine sings, she immediately recognized her as competition. Me, personaly i had to see it on youtube to hear it again, i had to stop and notice how charice voice resembles that of Lady Gaga. Or is it just me?

Another remarkable scene was when Charice made every New Direction member's jaw drop while singing Beyonce's "Listen" from the Broadway play and movie "Dreamgirls". Stage presence was superb kaso parang every performance na lang ganon ang getures nya. Subukan ka nyang lumiyad liyad. parang Pilita Corales lang. Para maiba naman. LOL.

Coca Cola Poster Scandal

In the mid-80s this poster was released in South Australia and would have cost Coca Cola $200,000 if it was to reprint.

Why reprint?

The Australian artist who drew this hid a cheeky image and Coca Cola had to withdraw the posters. The artist from a small graphic design firm got his job blown when the poster stuff-up was released.
